If the prescribed number of working days per week exceeds two, KS can also utilize paid nursing care time off (5 days). Additionally, after using annual leave or nursing care time off, you can take up to 93 days of nursing care leave (unpaid).
When applying to use any of these, you will need one of the following documents at the time of application:
- Certification of need for long-term care (level 2 or higher)
- A medical certificate from a doctor or similar professional (indicating a condition that requires constant care or is presumed to require such care)
- Long-term care status determination check sheet
