If you complete a trial return to work by the day before the end of your leave of absence and have received notification that you can formally return to work from the next day, you will be officially back to work at the end of your leave of absence as usual. (If the end of your leave falls on a public holiday, you will need to return the day before the holiday.) If you remain on leave at the end of your leave of absence, you will be treated as having resigned. The trial return period is also considered the same as being on leave.
