If you are absent from work continuously for a month (30 days) or longer, the commuting allowance that has been provided will be treated as follows:
- If you submit the notification of a long absence from work and are absent continuously for a month or longer, the commuting allowance from the start date of absence will be deducted from your pay.
- If the notification of a long absence from work is submitted after being absent continuously for a month or longer, the commuting allowance will be calculated from the start date of absence and will be deducted from your pay.
- If you submit multiple notifications of a long absence from work for a short period and result in being absent continuously for a month or longer, the commuting allowance from the start date written on the notification of a long absence from work at the time of exceeding a month, not the start date written on the first notification of a long absence from work, will be deducted from your pay.
- If you are absent during the renewal month (pay day in December and June), the commuting allowance will not be paid till the date that you resume work.
- The payment/deduction of commuting allowance due to the long absence or return to work will be calculated in accordance with the commuting allowance payment/deduction rules specified separately.*
- The same also applies to the parking and fuel fees for commuting in cars and the parking fees for bicycles.
