Regular wages will be paid for annual or reciprocal leave, and absence from work (taken without any remaining annual or reciprocal leave). Additionally, when entering a leave of absence, two-thirds of the regular wage is paid as leave pay. Bonuses will be proportionally deducted based on the number of days absent and will not be paid at all during a leave of absence.For more information, please contact Astec. *If you take a leave of absence while still having unused annual or reciprocal leave, salary deductions will occur accordingly.
*If there is less than one day of annual leave remaining, it will be considered the same as having no days of leave remaining. (E.g., 0.5 days of annual leave will be considered the same as having no days of leave remaining.)
* Contract employees and "ELP employees" will not receive pay for workdays they are absent; however, members of the Shiseido Health Insurance Society can apply for Injury and Sickness Allowance their absence. Note that reciprocal leave and leave of absence are not available to contract employees and "ELP employees".
