Can the reduced hours for employees taking childcare or nursing care hours be increased or decreased depending on the day of the week?

Employees on a flexible can make their own adjustments because their hours are managed on a monthly basis, but employees on a work schedule that manages hours on a daily basis cannot, unless they have permission to extend their workday.
