During maternity leave, social insurance premiums are exempted.
■ In the case of childcare leave at the time of birth
- Salary: If you take childcare leave for 14 days or more at the end of the month or within the month in which you started childcare leave, you will be exempt from the monthly social insurance premiums for that month.
- Bonus:Bonus insurance premiums are exempt only if there is a leave period of more than one consecutive month, so it is not exempt for childcare leave at the time of birth. However, although the period during which childcare leave can be taken at birth and the number of employees who are eligible to take it are different, the period of childcare leave is total.
■ In the case of regular childcare leave
- Salary: If you take childcare leave for 14 days or more at the end of the month or within the month in which you started childcare leave, you will be exempt from the monthly social insurance premiums for that month.
- Bonus:Social insurance premiums are exempt from the bonus payment month. However, exemptions are made on the condition that "childcare leave is taken at the end of the month" and "childcare leave is taken for more than one month".
