If you do not renew and the validation period of the residence card and the period of stay has expired even one day, you will be deemed overstayed (illegal stay) in Japan.. Please let your immediate manager know and go to the Immigration Bureau immediately. Also, please note that your employment will be terminated in accordance with the rules and regulations of the company in the event that the validation period of residence card has been expired. In this case, please kindly return your employee ID card and your company PC immediately.
