[Overview]
The High-Cost Medical Expense Benefit is a system where, if the out-of-pocket medical expenses paid by an insured person of the Shiseido Health Insurance Society become high, the amount exceeding a certain limit (the out-of-pocket limit) is reimbursed as "High-Cost Medical Expenses."
[Procedure]
For those using the My Number Health Insurance Card:
The limit information is provided without prior procedures or consent, so payments exceeding the limit under the High-Cost Medical Expense Benefit are waived. No prior application for the Certificate of Application of the Limit Amount is necessary.
For those not using the My Number Health Insurance Card:
Please submit the "Application for Certificate of Application of the Limit Amount" to Astec. The certificate will be sent approximately one week after the application, so please present it when making payments at the hospital.
