No, there are specific requirements for eligibility, as outlined below.
You will be eligible for the housing allowance if you have a new household and meet all of the following conditions.

- An Employee is a Sougoushoku-Employee in Zenkoku Course who is GG11 or below. They
- shall lose the eligibility when they are promoted to GG12・GG12_R or above;
- An Employee who is the head of the household but not eligible to live in a Company House;
- An Employee who is the contractor and also lives in the rental property;
- An Employee who has not lived in a Company House, nor has received Housing Allowance
that the Company pays to the head of a household; - An Employee who does not own a house within the Commutable Area or who cannot live in
their parents’ house, where their parent’s house is in the Commutable area; or - The Cohabitant is not already renting a Company House through the Company or other
employer, or receiving an equivalent benefit.
Additionally, there are requirements for income comparison as well.
- For an employee with a spouse, the person who manages the household and is the main livelihood maintainer who also has the largest amount of annual income in their family between January 1st to December 31st of previous year (excluding the rent subsidy stipulated in this policy) which is subject to income tax. ; or
- An Employee without a spouse who has children in the same family registration.
