The deduction will not be applied to the June or December bonuses but will be applied to the April year-end bonus. (The act of subtracting an amount is called a deduction.)
The amount is calculated using the following formula:
【Calculation Formula】
"Total childcare/caregiving hours taken during the year" ÷ "Company's standard working hours"
※If the calculated number of deduction days includes a fraction less than one day, it will be rounded down.
[Calculation Example]
For an employee with a standard daily working time of 7 hours and 45 minutes, in a year with 240 standard working days, who took 470 hours of childcare/nursing care time annually:
Calculation Method:
(Deduction Days) 470 hours ÷ 7.75 hours = 60.6 days (Rounding down fractions less than one day results in 60 days)
(Absence ratio) 60 days ÷ 240 days = 25%
Result: 25% deduction from the annual bonus amount
[Important Notes]
・Only actual childcare/caregiving hours taken are subject to deduction. Therefore, hours not taken due to reasons such as extended work hours on days when childcare was planned are not subject to deduction.
